I broke { reither cracked } side holding plup container was just more careful connecting it, use it daily with no other problems. The reason I have 2 is in going to a flea market saw one for sale upon asking price which was only $5. dollars lady who owned said was just to much for her to use lived alone just not interested[ was given as a gift} figured even if it didnt work it was a great fine in case I need parts at any time, tryed it out worked fine came with all items including books super great find. I was wondering if the "pro" model is any better?? Because from all of the above reveiws I would not purchase this juicer. Its the original model and it is the best appliance in my kitchen. I love that it doesnt operate without securing the arm. We make jugs of juice at a time. Its great to be able to go to the farmers market every single week and load up on fruits and veggies. I havent had any problems with it what so ever. I dont believe people who say that its a scam when i enjoy mine everyday. oh and i love that i can toss the pulp in the yard for the dear and throw the machine in the dishwasher. Not only is the juice pure and refreshing but the pulp that is left in the other container is also much drier than all other juicers that I have used in the last few decades including an older Breville model. And it is so much easier to clean, About cleaning, here is something I would like to share . . . . 1. line the pulp-collector container with an ordinary plastic bag that you collect from (usually) grocery shopping so that the waste is collected in the bag and ready for the bin. Make sure the plastic bag overlaps and cover the container all round the edges to prevent any spillage and you'll have one piece less to wash and clean every time. 2. Wash up as soon as you have finished juicing using a little warm soapy water to prevent and get rid of stains (mainly from carrots) and you'll enjoy an ever new looking juicer in the house for a long long time.
