lequip-pulp-ejector.jpgLooking for a budget juicer that is easy to clean and is small enough to fit your countertop?

L’equip Mini Pulp Ejector may be the answer.

IT’S BUILT:

From the picture, you’d assume it’s made of stainless steel. Unfortunately it’s only gray colored plastic, so don’t be fooled by what you see.

The good thing is with that color choice it’s not easily stained by everyday juicing. Furthermore, the warranty is 6 years, longer than some budget juicers in the market today. With that you’re also buying a peace of mind.

The compact design is also a feature we like in this juicer. It’s just a little bit bigger than your normal blender and don’t require much space. For those who have a small kitchen or is spaced-challenged, this juicer is simply perfect.

PERFORMANCE:

Despite being small, the L’equip Mini has a 600 Watts motor that is quite powerful. It eats through hard fruits like carrots very quickly without straining the motor.

Although the juicer vibrate a bit when a piece of fruit is stuck on it’s blade, it’s a minor problem that will disappear when you keep on adding more fruits/vegetables into the juicer.

The juice yield is good and the pulp ejected seemed relatively dry. Unlike some powerful and popular juicers out there ( like Breville JE900 that also has a 600 Watt motor), the juice have less foam and is more enjoyable to drink.

CLEANING UP:

To clean or disassemble this juicer, you’d only need a couple of minutes. The parts are dishwasher safe, but if you want to hand wash it, it would be an easy affair.

In fact, for a juicer, this one is one of the easiest to clean.

NOISE LEVEL:

The L’equip Mini Pulp Ejector is also surprisingly quieter than other juicers that comes with a powerful motor.

PLUSES:

  • Saves space, easy to store
  • Long warranty gives you a piece of mind
  • Easy to clean and quiet

MINUSES:

  • The feeder is not big enough. So you may need to cut your fruit into chunks first.
  • Spout is a bit too low. So, you can’t use a tall glass to gather the juice.

CONCLUSION:

A good value for money juicer. It has a powerful motor that seemed to do well under normal everyday juicing and the warranty that is long enough to give you the confidence that it is durable.

The L’equip Mini is also surprisingly quieter, gives good juice and easy to clean that some other popular and more expensive rivals.

If you’re new to juicing and need a good introduction to the ritual - this is the juicer for you, no doubt about it.
